Real Madrid could've signed Man Utd's Ronaldo as junior

Real Madrid football chief Miguel Angel Portugal admits they could've signed Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo as a youngster.
Ronaldo joined United from Sporting Lisbon, but not before he was turned down by Real, as Portugal revealed: "We had Cristiano Ronaldo in our hands.

"But it didn't happen and it was disappointing. Real Madrid back then never spent money on it's junior signings."
